Living mentally healthy

Living mentally healthy should be included in our goals in life. We should not only concentrate more on our physical health. We take our mental health for granted sometimes. But it is never too late. We still can achieve positive mental health. Here are some ideas I gathered from my research on the net.

  • We should talk about your feelings
  • Write down whatever is troubling your mind. Get a journey where you can write down your thoughts, experience, feelings, etc.
  • Keep active through exercise
  • Eat well include fruits and vegetables in your diet
  • Sleep well for 8 hours
  • Keep in touch with friends and loved ones. Call them and hang out with them
  • Change your lifestyles. It does not have to be fancy.
  • Avoid caffeine or stimulant drugs
  • Set realistic goals
  • Keep an eye on personal stress. Don’t take it for granted
  • Get involved in the church, good community
  • Do good
  • Open your ears to music and laughter
  • Say a prayer every day.
