walkingaway Walking is something we do everyday, but did you know you can lose weight by walking. Walking is the cheapest of all exercise. Walking has hidden benefits; it’s a weight-bearing activity. It may also improve bone density, putting less stress on joints than other forms of exercise. Aside from the health benefits of walking you can teach yourself to enjoy what you see while taking your walking exercise. Walking up hills expend more energy, even walking down again uses more energy than walking flat.

Here some tips of how you can make your walking exercise.

1. Walk, don’t drive to any local shop. If you have a lot to carry, take a small buck sack.
2. If you have children, walk with them to and from school as briskly as you all can mange.
3. Get off the bus or train a stop or two early. This will give you some extra daily exercise.
4. Take a walk during your lunch hour. Half an hour walking after meal will cut off the amount of fats that store by using it to fuel your exercise.
5. Once a week take longer walk along a completely different routine to keep things interesting.
