Smoking can be a life threatening

Recent studies that people who have lung cancer that quit smoking, May could double their life of surviving. Until now there has been a little proof that quit smoking after developing lung cancer makes any difference to survival. From British Heart Foundation cancer research U.K. analyzed previous data from 10 studies examining how long smokers survived after being diagnosed with lung cancer. People with lung cancer who continued smoking had a 35 percent of chance of surviving five years according to their study. But those who quit smoking the habit of smoking had a 65 to 70 percent chance of being alive after years. The researcher was published in the BMJ formerly known as the British Medical journal. Some doctors who have patient with lung cancer recommends their patient to quit smoking but not all does. Some doctors and nurses think it is inhuman to dwell on the matter. According of the researcher they aren’t sure if tobacco smoke or the nicotine affect the lung cancer once it has developed. Knowing how cigarettes impact cancer could potentially lead to new treatments, the study said.
