The microwave oven has been a household staple for decade. It makes cooking fast and convenient. Image if there was no microwave oven-busy mom’s and single with no time for conventional cooking would be living on delivery, take-out food, and instant cup noodles forever.
Microwave, which are form for electromagnetic radiation, have other uses, such as the detection of speeding cars and the curing of plywood and resins but the most common use of this energy is in microwave ovens. However, the microwave was an offshoot of another technology. In 1946, Dr. Percy Spencer, an engineer from Raytheon Corporation in the U.S, was testing a new radar-related research project called the magnetron vacuum tube when he noticed that the candy bar in his pocket had melted. Intrigued, he put some popcorn kernels near the contraption and saw the kernels pop. He placed an egg near the tube and witness the egg begins tremble and burst in a matter of seconds. After many experimental, development and refining they come up the first commercial microwave oven named “Radarange” hit the US market in 1947. And until now we where using it, microwave radically change people cooking habits, resulting in fresher foods, less waste, quick cooking time and money saved. It’s more saving energy efficient than conventional cooking because its cook faster as the energy heats only the food not the whole oven compartment. Technology advance and developments led to a better more efficient microwave oven and considered a luxury a practical, affordable necessity.
Bonding with Your Baby…
The concept of parent-child bonding, once a precise academic theory, has evolved into one of the general application to the parent-child relationship. The theory concern itself with ensuring that a new mother does not reject his offspring. How is this to achieve? Well, it is asserted that the first minute or hours after birth constitute a sensitive period during which a mother should have close physical contact either her new born. This theory mean that a mother would instinctively be drawn closer to her child in the future if bonding take places soon after birth. This supposedly gives an advance to the child and will help him or reach optimal potential. If parent-hood were that easy. While maternal-infant bonding is an interesting psychological idea, research has not substantiated in human being the cause and effect relationship this theory speaks of. There is nothing wrong with a newborn cuddling with his or her mother right after birth or having a close time together with his or her new family. If it’s possible I encourage you to do that. Take time to acknowledge the wonderful creation of a new life. Building a healthy parent-child relationship doesn’t take place in a moment of time; it’s a long-term process. Your baby will not be permanently impaired if there’s a lack of physical contact with mom right after birth.
I’m The Man..
I’m the man in the house. I usually do all the things that a woman can’t like plumbing, carpentry or any electrical works. To make all these things done, I need special tools especially in carpentry. Small Business Ventures
I’m planning to have a business of my own and I’m taking down a list of all the possible business that I’m going to take. Since it’s now summer, a refreshment bar is my choice. I think, it would be the best choice for this season. I already have the place and things that I wanted and definitely a different choices of refreshing drinks and sumptuous food that I’m going to serve. And before all this preparations, I already did some flyers to promote the business and a signage to be known to all. It cost me much and it didn’t come out the way that I wanted.
