Blister
You’re into sport or do lot of walking, you may have experience getting a blister on your foot. What is blister, a small swelling of the skin that certain fluid called serum or plasma. When the skin on your foot rubs continuously against your shoe it cause blister, it also caused by burning including sunburn, freezing, skin infection or exposure to chemicals.
Foot blister are the most common the best way to prevent blister from getting infected is to take care of the area where the blister located. Sometimes blister can be very painful because of the broken skin. To additional protection, cover the blister with adhesive bandage, for larger blister use a gauze pad that can absorb moisture. If the pain prevents you from walking consult a doctor before attempting to puncture a blister. Dealing with blister might not be difficult, but they’re some possible infection. It is important to make sure your hands; blister and puncturing tool are clean. First wash your hand and the part with blister with sop and water. Disinfect the blister for the second time with iodine or alcohol. Once the blister is cleaned, use sterilized sharp needles to puncture the blister near the edge. Allow the fluid the drain on its own leaving the skin intact. After the fluid has drained apply some antibiotic ointment on the blister and cover with gauze pad. Replace the pad at least once a day. When buying a pair of shoes, it is the best to buy toward the end of the day because your feet tend to expand throughout the day.
