Iron
Did you know red meat is the richest source of iron? The livers particularly and there are also other meats have iron like the chicken, turkey, pork, fish and shellfish. While other resource like vegetables, nuts, and seeds are good in iron too. Increase your energy level by eating iron rich foods. They are sources of the air and strengthen our body to sustain our daily activity. The body can’t absorb the iron as easily as from animal’s sources. Now iron is added to some food we like to eat like for cereal, dread and pasta.
Here are some 2 ways to increase the level of iron in our body.
- Don’t drink coffee or tea because it contains polyphenol that can decrease the absorption of iron. Polyphenol tends to block in the iron and it makes more difficult to be absorb.
- Take foods with a high amount of vitamin c like orange because it keeps absorb the iron better.
