1. For cast iron, remove cooked and burnt-on-food or grease by soaking the pan in hot water and use a plastic scouring pad. If the stain remains, mix 3 cups of water with 2 teaspoon of baking soda and soak it.
2. Add a little vinegar to rinse water for shiny, steak-less glass.
3. For a shiny steel sink, make stainless steel sink clean with a little rubbing alcohol and remove spot and remove spots with the white vinegar. For a truly sparkling stainless steel sink, buff with a little baby oil. Remove rust spot (like those from rusted steel wool and pads) with lighter fluid.
4. Stain pan and ovens. Remove stains form stove drips on pans by using laundry detergent. Use little amount toothpaste to remove black scruff marks from appliances. Rub water rings on your table with petroleum jelly.
5. To remove grease from the inside the oven, put a small amount on the pan with ammonia in the oven, overnight with the door closed. In the morning, remove the pan and inside grease should wipe off easily.
6. Give your countertops a new shine with cub soda.
7. Use a soft cloth dampened with white vinegar to remove water spots from stainless and wipe dry.
8. For cutting board, it’s important to thoroughly clean cutting boards, which trap bacteria and germs. Sprinkle it with salt on the board. Cut lemon in half and squeeze half of the lemon onto the board. Scrub and clean. Use warm water to rinse off the lemon salty mixture. Occasionally lightly sand wooden boards. Rub a small amount of olive oil into the board, but never immerse wood in the water.
9. Clean a microwave quickly by filling a bowl with water and a squirt of lemon juice, boil the water so that steams fills the microwave, and wipe the surface with damp cloth.
